Photographer’s Note
Hi, I'm back from a short business trip in Europe, I have really missed you all.
I'll start from the end of the journey - a very short walk in Amsterdam, yesterday afternoon. The light was very soft, very different from the Mediterranean harsh light. So I decided to show you today a very typical (but a bit different) view of Amsterdam.

A pity ! Would like to meet a great photographer....
Noord Holland, Amsterdam, and then this shot in my favourite colour with "my" city as a background. A great shot, Yitzhak !

Welcome back Itzik, hope you had a good trip. Good low angle in this one to have the bike (I'm glad you found one in my favorite color)as a foreground interest in front of the canal. Nice autumn colors and reflections behind, and there's even more bikes at the left. Well captured.

WOW...what wonderful sharpness and lively colors here Yitzhak! Indeed light in Western Europe has completely different quality than in Mediteranian...I love the framing and the POV!

Very clear picture.

Well done !

Hé hé, Yitzhak, you were in a country close to mine! Easy to do such a picture in the Netherlands but I think there is only you to think about it! I like also the blue of cycle just in front of those yellow leafs from automn! Great shot!

Good to see that you can appreciate the bicycles in The Netherlands. They can be found everywhere. What surprises me is that it has only one simple lock and that it is not fixed by a chain-lock to the bridge! Parking your bike like this in Amsterdam is almost a guarantee that it will be stolen within short time... This is a nice autumn picture. However, you forgot to include the lower part of the tire in the frame, aiaiai... Or did you do this on purpose?

Hi Yitzhak, welcome back, a typical view of Amsterdam, but excellent sharp and clear, I see the autumn colour on te background and the reflections in the water. You was not in Belgium? Thanks for visiting my photograph.

You framed this shot perfectly, Yitzhak. Most people - including myself - would have just gone for the background shot, but you added a bicycle (with a beautiful blue colour) to the foreground. I am looking forward to seeing Amsterdam through your eyes. Well done.

I like the circular framing of the yellow leaves with the blue bicycle wheel. The dark toned wheel rim also encircles most of the highlights in the image. Well composed, & a well thought out shot!

recognizable! The whole seems a bit too blue-ish to me, but I like the original POV.
Isn't it a great city?!

Yitzhak, you got here almost everything what so characterisíc is for Amsterdam. And overthere the autumn, too.
And a bit of rust, on the leaves. No, you can't let it...

Nice, vivid blue and silver you caught here, Yitzak. And I see the omnipresent rain is still reigning! Maybe a bit tight on the wheel at the bottom!

hello Yitzhak,
Well seen! You discovered also the Dutch bikes. Why not parking in the Dutch Bikes file?
Best regards,
Hendrik
