In December and January many European cities suddenly found their streets populated with protests and rallies protesting against the bombing of Gaza or supporting the Israeli action.......I am not sure if this particular Jewish gathering on the Right Bank of the Seine was explicitly geared to a nationalistic concern but rather about religion and Jewish identity....the flags, placards and more gung ho attitudes seen from Jewish demonstrations in some American cities and some of what i witnessed in London was not present here......there was a quiet respectful silence for the speakers.....and such a quiet respectful strength in this man.
