Dedicated to all beloved ones who left a permanent mark in our hearts for the Valentine`s Day...

I know this is not one of the best shots of mine, but it is one of the shots breaking my heart whenever I look at it. Photo taken from a fast moving bus window during a trip from Mostar to Sarajevo.The building is a nursing home that was bombed during the war in Bosnia in 1992.
I`ve chosen B&W for the rest of the destroyed building. The whole building can be seen in workshop

Kalplerimizde kalici bir iz birakan tum sevgililere ithafen...

Bunun cektigim en iyi fotograflardan biri olmadiginin farkindayim.Ama her baktigimda yuregimi sizlatan bir fotograf oldugundan Sevgililer Gununde yuklemek istedim. Fotograf hizla giden bir otobusun penceresinden, Mostar`dan Saraybosna`ya bir yolculuk sirasinda cekildi. Bina 1992 yilinda Bosna Savasi sirasinda bombalanan bir huzur evi. Binanin geri kalan kismi icin bu yuzden siyah- beyazi sectim. Binanin tamami icin workshopa goz atabilirsiniz.

Selam Sibel, Sanırım hepimizin içini sızlatan bir anı, zor koşullarda da olsa başarılı bir şekilde fotoğraflamışsınız. Renk uygulaması ise etkiyi daha da güçlendirmiş. Kutlarım.

gerçektende insanın içini sızlatan bir görüntü.o yılları hatırladıkça ve bu fotografı gördükçe şavaşın ne kadar acımasız olduğu ortaya çıkıyor.bence bu fotografta renk uygulaması çok güzel bir sonuç ve anlatım ise mükemmel bir kompozisyon oluşturmuş elinize sağlık.

Hello Sibel,
It sis a shame that bombs have to be dropped at all to settle differences, but to destroy the homes of those that cannot fend for themselves is a crime of humanity, regardless if it were an accident!
