Photographers Note
Here is another picture of the famous Khan El Khalili bazaar in Cairo. After touring it countless times, I decided that thgis corner was the most photogenic of all, and stayed there quite a while, untl it started to become dark and some lamps were on.
The guys here seemed happy as if they were congratulating themselves over a deal.

Bonjour Izzet,
Bon dimanche
Amicalement

Merhaba İzzet Bey, fotoğrafın küçük hâline baktığımda içeriği hakkında fazla tahminde bulunamamıştım. Ancak fotoğrafı açtığımda Han el-Halil Çarşısı'nın o insanı içine alıp sürükleyen atmosferinin içinde buluverdim kendimi. Kemerin hemen üstünde ay-yıldız görüyorum sanki. Ben kendim gezerken dikkatimi çekmemişti. Elinize sağlık. Saygılar, Tolga

Izzet what are your thoughts on the distinctive character of these lamps and other items for sale here? Are they not distinctive in shape and form and a integral part of Egyptian culture? I find it fascinating to discover why a certain country chooses this or that kind of lamp for their home decoration. Thanks for sharing.

Merhaba Izzet Bey,
Sayenizde tekrar oraları gezer gibi oldum, sürekli pazarlık ettiğimi hatırladım. Mimarisiyle, pirinçleriyle ve mükemmel zamanlamasıyla çok hoş bir kare.
Tebrikler, iyi pazarlar,
Zeynep

Hello Izzet,
I enjoy this chaotic mix of elaborate lamps and decorative stonework. It was certainly worth waiting till the lamps were lit to make the most of their colours - and the green light in the background directs our eye back to the centre of the picture. The three men add an important narrative interest.
Best wishes....Maggie

Merhaba Izzet.
What amazing place! I love all this stuff, the people, the buildings and... how you managed the light in this way?

Hi Izzet Bey,
This picture is a perfectly good representation of Egyptian daily life, traditional art and architecture due to the ideal composition. The quality is simply astonishing, taking into account that ISO was 800. I see no noise there. Great job!
Looking at your photos I try to get higher quality of my shots. Thanks for your kind advice about the way of improving my images with exaggerated vertical perspective because of the lens distortion! Now I can solve this problem with Photo Shop. Thanks again,
Sergiy
