Malcolm Crowe: In your dreams?

Malcolm Crowe: While you're awake?

Malcolm Crowe: Dead people like, in graves? In coffins?
Cole Sear: Walking around like regular people. They don't see each other. They only see what they want to see. They don't know they're dead.
Malcolm Crowe: How often do you see them?
Cole Sear: All the time. They're everywhere.
The Sixth Sense is a 1999 psychological horror film written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan. It tells the story of Cole Sear, a troubled, isolated boy (Haley Joel Osment) who claims to be able to see and talk to the dead, and an equally troubled child psychologist (Bruce Willis) who tries to help him. The film established Shyamalan as a writer and director, and introduced the cinema public to his signatures, most notably his affinity for twist endings. The film was nominated for six Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
Thanks again for your contribution, Korkut :)

Last post for a while since Monday morning, I'll go to Paris.
My new camera was getting covered with dust, so I decided to go for a walk to BCC (Belém Cultural Center) museum and try some shots to know if everything was working properly for my next trip.
This shot of reflections was taken in one of the corridors that connects diferent exhibitions of the museum.
Reflections on windows have the ability to show paralel worlds, other dimensions and sometimes we are lucky enough to see it for a split second.
I played a bit with the tones in this monochromatic version.
WS - color version.
---------------
The Belém Cultural Center (CCB - Centro Cultural de Belém), located in the Belém quarter of Lisbon, is the largest building with cultural facilities in Portugal. CCB includes very complex areas such as an auditorium for opera, ballet, symphony concerts and congresses, high security meeting halls, and a 7,000 m² exhibition area. Also located in CCB is the Jacques Delors European Information Center.
The Belém Cultural Center has 140,000 m² of construction area and was prepared in a very short period (1989-1992). The client of the project was the Portuguese State through the Secretaria de Estado da Cultura (State Agency for Culture). Completed in 1992, it occupies a total of 100,000 m² and is the work of architects Vittorio Gregotti and Manuel Salgado; the interior was planned by Daciano Costa.
Areas
With highly sophisticated equipment and a wide variety of installed services, it has several areas with different roles:
• The Conference Area provides a close link with the most varied business and professional sectors
• The Entertainment Area is equipped with two Auditoriums and a Rehearsal Room with 72 places
• The Exhibition Area has ample spaces and galleries for exhibition of plastic arts, architecture, photography, and design
• The Educational Area provides a close link between the Foundation and schools of various levels as well as other institutions
• The Formation Area is a service of the Foundation of the Belém Cultural Center; courses, seminars and Conferences are directed towards formation in professionalism and aim at modernisation, acquisition of further knowledge skills and specialisation in the different areas of the arts, and culture.
Informative note stolen from this post of Aires showing a wonderful blue-hour perspective of the gardens of this museum.

Very interesting picture. The reflection and the background create a pretty surreal scene. I like the color you've chosen for the shot. The sepiaish tone allows you to focus on all the details without being distracted by any colors.

Could this ghost be your ever-helpful assistant?!! Good idea to convert to monotone and sepia seems to work well with the walls and floor tiles. I can't decide if I can see two Anas or if it is someone different further back on the left. A strange mixture of reflection and reality.

Belo registro!

Merhaba Ric,
Look at the little mirrors which are variable , they can distort and lie. But mirrors don’t talk, don't worry ... Nobody knows who is walking ;D
Perfect reflections with amazing sepia tones.Pls use your new camera more frequently.
Enjoy your trip to Paris with Ana.

Hi Ricardo. These ghosts are everywhere!! You have to watch your back in public places ;-). I like the monochrome version you present us, good sharpness and good balance in the composition. Thanks for sharing.
Have a good Sunday, Paul.

Good morning Ricardo,
unusual shot with the complementary note to describe the boy who claimed that was able to see and talk to dead.I like the passing by reflection of the 'boy' of your note in front of us,as the rails that keep in 'jail' his mind.A nice overtone shot.Well done.
Have a nice day,Danos

Hello Ricardo, I do prefer B&W version, since some parts in the coloured one attract my attention from the real model. CCB is a convenient place to take this kind of photos. I've visited there many times, but since I do not have graphic-friendly eyes like yours, I always return empty-handed:)

Nice use of the old movie line, from the 6th Sense, in the title caption. A good decisive moment capture, of the passing shadow. I like the warm sepia tone, & tonal range, in this superb b&w image. Tfs!

Hi Ric,
A spectacular new camera, you are using. One that makes the living deaths visible. Be careful with the use of this ability for maybe there is danger in fooling the death. If you think you can captured demons with this camera, then you are invited for my new theme.

Hi Ricardo,
I saw this film and I liked much, much of feelings and the young actor played his part very well. Indeed these reflections make think of the appearances which saw the young boy. Beautiful management of the lights and this reflection. The use of monochromic accentuates the clearness of the image. Original and unusual composition.
With all my friendships and very happy to have been able to make your knowledge like that of Ana in Versailles, and I hope that we will on the occasion to again meet us with a sunnier weather !!!

Nice Korkut like image. Like the diagonal with the reflection of the passing lady on the glass. Such pictures can be open to a lot of interpretations & your colour toning in PP actually adds to the 'mystical' feel. Good experimental shot my friend!

Paulo
