Photographer’s Note

Perhaps it is a universal moment - that time when everyone around you is alert and interacting, yet being small and tired, one finds the best rest next to mom. The photo reflects that point of pure comfort we all seek and find. This was a holiday-like event in Bangkok Thailand. A small local temple has set space with chairs and tables and many families gathered for a festive family meal. It is difficult to tell if the entire group was together, an extended family or company, or that here were many groups each independent from others. In any case it is a sweet scene - a normal moment from daily life found perhaps anywhere - the bond between us all. Of many photos this one seem sweet and warm - yet no one seems to like it - not sure why?

Hello David,
it's a very good photo! I like the subject of it and a very good note which you added to the photo.
Very good composition.
Besides, I think you are very good at taking photos of natural colours :) I don't know how you manage it!

My only two wishes are: concerning this photo - I would sharpen it a little, just a little bit; concerning notes: you write very good notes, and I like them very much.

And as a person who studied (and still is interested in) psychology among other humanitarian subjects, I would say that for better (and quicker) perception of a text it's better to break long paragraphs into smaller ones with a bit of space between them.

That's what I was taught, and that is what my students always ask me to do when I prepare lessons for them (especially texts for reading in English) :)
Well... that's just my humble opinion!
