Mallards at Sundown Photo

Photographer’s Note

Another picture from Fish Trap Lake. This is a picture of female mallards shortly after the sunset. I have been going to this lake for years with my family during the summers. There are always good sunsets, and it is a great place to fish.

I fixed a lot in this repost. First, I fixed the colors so they weren't so dull. I also made it a little brighter and made the picture bigger. For some reason, whenever I post a picture, the colors really fade when they are posted on trek. Any suggestions?

In similar situations adjust prefer some things in pre RAW Adobe. where the dominant white and blue Aloni and then with HDR tomapping, where I have the default settings for alone.
Then saturation.
But we need to work and have the strength and courage to start again.

Bill, this is definitely an improvement over the original post for all the reason you have stated. The color is a huge improvement for sure and the picture works well because of the off set composition. Nice capture.

Hi Bill,
wonderful shot! I really like the way you use the light and shadows here. Nice reflections, warm colors and great actors in the f/g. ;-)
As far as the fading after upload goes - what program are you using for pp?

A very beautiful scene! The contrasting warm colors of the sun and the silhouettes are well done. The silhouettes of the ducks and the ripples in the water make the picture special. Good job!
