Photographer’s Note
There is a roadside sign as you drive into Radium BC that says "The Mountains Shall Bring Peace to The People". Well, this is Canmore Alberta, and I reckon those words are just as true here - it is a perfect place to forget about the worries of the world and soak up Nature's splendour.
This shot was taken following a hearty breakfast and hot mug of coffee in one of the many 'downtown' Canmore cafes: it may look like it was reasonably warm, but I'm sure it was minus 20-something!

Cristal clear image, one can almost feel the frozen air. Beutiful colours and scenery, a lovely and descriptive composition.
All the best,

Hi Jeff,
A mighty wintery looking town you show us today, but a place high on my list of favorite places too - have taken tons of great shots in the area and stayed in a gorgous timeshare a few times too - love to go back every chance I get. Well done and TFS. Gerald

Hi Jeff,
Hope you didn't have Moose burgers for breakfast. Great looking shot, the mountains look spectacular. It certainly doesn't look warm, quite the opposite, you've captured the freezing atmosphere well, the bluish tint in the foreground conveys the cold very well.
Interesting looking little town, the wide street says country that's for sure.
Wonderful colours and the image is as sharp as a tack, well done.
Cheers
Pete
