Photographer’s Note
After the sunset, the moon rising over Aberdeen Bay and beach.
Against this bright sky and after such a long exposure, it looks a bit like a small sun rather than its very self.
A prequel to Under the Moonlight II.

I like the long exposure effect here, Peter. The moonlight leaking onto the ocean reminds me of an Edward Munch painting. The expressionist blue is magical. Still there are a few things you could improve on.
There are some spots near the top half of the frame, e.g. in the top left corner, which should be removed. Do you know how to do this? It could be dust particles on the sensor.
Also - but far less annoying - there seems to be a slight tilt in the shot.
A real pity, because this is a shot with a lot of potential.

Hi Peter,
Very beautiful composition and a nice atmosphere in your photo, I like it a lot. Beautiful light and colors, I like the little spot of the boat.
There are a few dirty spot in the sky, which is a bit pityfull in such a beautiful photo...
Anyway, I like it a lot !
