Photographer’s Note
This is a photo of the Upper Spokane falls taken from behind the YMCA. If you look under the bridge you can see the old brick foundtion of the saw mill that use to be on Canon island back in the 1890's.

Hi Jason,
I like the way you have composed this, the river coming from the right of frame works well. At first I wasn't too sure about the close foreground branch at the top right but, it's grown on me (sorry about that pun). Good POV, the colour tones and the light levels are perfect throughout the shot. A small point, the tower running out the top of frame is not good.
Good looking capture of the bridge and falls, it works.
Regards
Peter

Hi Jason,
Seems strange to see such a wild river running through such a populated area.
This must be most of the water in western Washington.
Your lovely home town makes a very unique background to this fine landscape.

Hi, Jason.
Stunning perspective and a truly fine display of colors in a highly dynamic shot. Those churning white waters look pretty spectacular, let me tell you, as I love rafting. GOOD JOB, buddy!
Have a great day, I'll be seeing ya.
Fulvio.

Hi Jason. Very good close look at the rushing water of this river. I like the shutter speed chosen here in freezing the fluid in good exposure and details. Good framing and thanks for sharing. Regards. Jusni

Hi, Jason,
I love looking through your photos. My brother spent time out in Washington and he said it was one of the most beautiful places he's ever been. This has wonderful light and color, great sharp detail. I like the foliage in the FG and I really like the natural look of the water. I'm not a big fan of super slow shutter speeds that turn it to milk. That's an incredible scene. Many thanks and warm regards,
Shelly
