Photographer’s Note
Taquile is a small island on the Peruvian side of Lake Titicaca. The island has about 2000 residents. Their daily life exists in : farming, cooking, spinning yarn, weaving and of course tourism. Running water and electricity are scarce, the only transportation is by foot. Nice colourful place.
