Football field the Faroe Islands way
A had to stop for a photo of this football field placed right by the beach and windy coastline outside the small village Eidi (think it was there). A real contrast to the rough coastline along the island Eystoroy.

BTW this was a day with several photos shot from the car window (as here) due to heavy rain and wind - and when outside many photos was a disaster as the lens was full of water drops within seconds.

Hi Jack,
Impressive contrast, well taken, interesting shot from these islands. This footbal field gives a brightness green at your shot taken while a rainy day.

What a wonderfull scene ! On thumbnail I could not identify the green square at left bottom ; a football field ! Must be a good feeling to play there football ant listen the roaring sea.
Perfect compo and good light management.

What a problem with the site, slow, slow and slow!!!
I see no drop rain on your picture, but a very nice picture, a form excellent image, also the football field in background care for a good composition.

Hej Jack!
I guess they want have any problem getting the soccer field Green, and I also have thought about the wind it have to be quite tricky no and then to play on this.
As usual a great performance from mr Jack's camera with this ochre color in FG the limecolored playground and the dark green rocks behind.

this is incredible scene.
so much fog, wavy sea and the football area just next to sea.
i like the lost horizon line.

Hi Jack,
An absolute topper!!! A nice shot, notwithstanding the atrocious weatherconditiions. The gras must be artificial I think. I wonder how many balls they have lost in the North Atlantic :-).

Jack, I am in debt with you, my friend: this is a specially inspired and inspiring series.
The images are beautiful and they have that literary feeling as in "Wuthering Heights" I love so much.
There is this football court, so well organized, so different from our reality here, where kids play usually in a muddy court with a ball made of socks. Lovely world!
