Photographer’s Note

Okay, I’m not a morning person, but I dragged my skinny behind out of bed and setting up my tripod for this panoramic shot, stitched together from 3 sequential shots. I was hoping to get some nice reflection of the mountain range but it was rather windy that morning and cloudy, at least not raining, thank heaven. See large version for better quality if you have time. The site has been very slow lately.

Glacier National Park
With its alpine glaciers, jagged peaks, teeming wildlife, lakes, lush forests, wildflowers, and many waterfalls, Glacier National Park is often referred to as "North America's Crown Jewel". One of the Glacier National Park's crown jewels is the fabulous Many Glacier region, where the photo is taken, just outside of the Many Glacier Hotel Lodge. In the front is Swiftcurrent Lake with its wonderful vista of the Lewis Range.
Thanks for looking in and enjoy.
