Photographer’s Note
Houses of Tasiilaq; they are built on concrete to avoid that the permafrost under them melts and causes their collapse.

Hello Giuseppe,
The scattered houses in bright colours look quite strange in this barren landscape. Your low pov showing a lot of sky accentuates the feeling of emptiness. The technical quality of the picture is very good.

Hello Giuseppe.
This is a well composed and striking photo. I like the viewpoint you have chosen, looking up the hill at these colourful houses and the excellent sky. It all looks quite alien to a city dweller in a warm country, but we can all understand the problems that will come from a thawing permafrost. The light and shade contrast is handled very well in this picture. Well done.
Regards,
Andrew
