Photographer’s Note
I've always called this the Selah Creek Bridge since I was a kid. It's located between Selah Wa. and Ellensburg Wa. Before the highway and the bridge were built you had to drive the old canyon highway which is two lanes and was very dangerous during the winter.
From WDOT.
Selah Creek Arches
The twin Selah Creek Fred G. Redmond
Bridges on I-82 provide a connection south from
Ellensburg to Yakima. They were the largest arch
span bridges in the United States at 549.5 ft when
they opened to traffic in 1971. The top of the arch
span is 325 ft above the canyon and required
falsework to be built from the valley below. The
superstructure on each bridge consists of 17 spans
of prestressed concrete girders that are 78.5 ft
long. These two bridges are examples of the use
of concrete for nearly 780 interstate bridges built
between 1955 and 1975 that are now 30 to over
50 years old.

Hi Jason,
Very interesting shot, I like the angle you've chosen and the way the bridge defines the horizon.
Great colours, the earthy tones and the lack of trees really gives us a good idea of what the country around there is like.
Good stuff.

Hi Jason,
Wonderful angle chosen for this shot showing both sides of the deep revine that this modern bridge spans.
The silver blue bridge matches the sky as they both work well to compliment the arid yellow hills below.
Beautiful soothing shadows grace this stiking landscape.

Hi Jason,
excellent depth and clarity. I can see the marked increase in quality in this shot! The view is splendid with the bridge taking center stage in this scene. It does look like an impressive structure and its setting make this image more dramatic. Thanks Jason :-)

Hello Jason,
A POV and a framing well selected for presented this bridge. The yellow colors of the ground is very well collected. The trucks on the bridge give an idea of the scale. Good prospect tto.
Have a good day,
Roger

Hi, Jason.
Not the best lighting one can wish, but that's something we all got to deal with. I'll be the last one to complain about it.
Striking perspective and wonderful scenery, I more than like what I see, thanks for sharing.
Have a great day, see ya around.
Fulvio.

HI Jason
I really like the point of view you chose. I like the perspective and the yellow tones of herbs. It fits well with the yellow tractor-trailer on the bridge. Great architecture and informative note. Well done!
Best regards
Denis!

Jason
I like the composition with the top of the bridges positioned high in the frame. The lorries crossing the bridge help give some idea of the scale of this landscape. As a result you can appreciate the engineering effort required to build such structures.
