Photographer’s Note
Hi,
Today panoramic shot taken recently near small village called Portknockie on the northern-east coast of Scotland. Rock near the middle is the 'Bow Fiddle Rock' which feature on my previous post. I highly recommend this area, together with the nearby Cullen Bay it feature some fantastic coastal locations with caves, cliffs and interesting rock formations. This one was taken from the top of a cliff. The low sun behind me lit the rocks and cliffs adding warm tones while the dark rainy clouds on the horizon made nice background for the scene. I wanted to cover wide area so I took 12 horizontal shots (6 for the top half and 6 for bottom half) stitched together to create this view. RAW mode, CPL filter and tripod used.

A beautifully warm shot that is well framed from the low position. The light is obviously great and really gives the whole image life.

Hi Tomasz,
A beautiful image is reward for the enormous amount of post time you must have put into this shot. Twelve shots all to be graded and stitched, I shudder to think of how long it took you. Not a flaw anywhere, except......only joking, it is flawless.
Stunning image, congratulations.

Hi Tomasz,
Excellent panoramic shot! First time I see that somebody two horizontal levels... Usually for this kind of shots we use one line of portrait framed shots, isn't it?
One think is strange for me: the contrasts of the foreground is bellow of the rest, I would increase the contrasts of the grass... But i'm not expert... ;-)

Ciao Tomasz,
really a "great" work! I expecially like the light on the left side of the clouds, it was not easy to render, but you managed it very well!
Great depth and beautiful golden light.

Piekne swiatlo, wyczekane; widac profesjonalne podejscie do fotografii

A czym kleiłeś panoramę? Jak radzisz sobie z łączeniem zdjęć? Nie widać żadnych niedoróbek.
Pozdrawiam!
