Candi Mendut @ First Sight Photo

Photographer’s Note

Swaddee Krub everybody,

For the 3rd day in Yogya,For exterior shot of candi Mendut that I took when entered the boundary.For first sight,This temple had in the good condition that i must admire the people who restored.I loved this POV for the most of my exterior shots;-)

For post process,Firstly I duplicate 2 layer to split sky layer from BG layer,Then use gradient effect on sky layer/reduce to 24% transparent and use shadow/hight light on BG layer to reduce light and open detail in shade. Secondly,I cropped a little bit to composition then use curve to adjust contrast.Thirdly,I use color balance and hue/saturation tool to adjust the color for BG.Finally,I used smart sharpen, framing and resize to finish.

l'endroit est superbe et la photo est bien composée. Bonne présence du personnage et de sa couleur rouge. J'aime bien la texture et les teintes de la pierre. Beau travail.

A good upward pov & nice catch of the photogrpaher in the red shirt, which contrasts well against the blue sky. Good sharpness & pov. Tfs!

It's such a long time I was last in Indonesia, I am not sure to have seen this one - the wide angle works very well and I like the inclusion of the kneeling photographer, it gives some scale and some presence to the monument.
Very nice effect.
