Photographer’s Note
Swaddee Krub everybody,
For the 3rd day in Yogya,in the afternoon I bound for the evening sunlight of this day at Borobudur. On the way,I dropped by at candi Mendut that in this place had the interesting Buddhist statues inside temple.I know the information of these statues before this trip that also included in my program. For first sight,The statues had more beautiful and mystic look than my thinking before. The three statues consisted of (from left to right)Maitreya,Cakyamuni and Awalokiteswara.I took this shot from many with trying to capture all of statue. After all I had the best shot here to presented to you all.
For post process,Firstly I croped then use shadow/highlight tool a little bit to composition and open detail of shadow on ceiling and decrease highlight on Buddha statue.Secondly,I use color balance and hue/saturation tool to adjust the color in overall. Finally,I used smart sharpen, framing and resize to finish.
For further information : The WIKI for all season on Candi Mendut and the very useful information on restoration of Candi Mendut

Hello Patshoo
I am coming back to your gallery, because I learn a lot from your pictures. A beautiful shot from inside the temple. The pyramidal structure & the high roof creates good perspectives, along the walls of which lies the three statues of Buddha. There seems to be window to the left, which is the source of light, more prominent on the statue in the centre. Maybe if possible, you could have reduced the highlight or exposure on the central statue...maybe that was not possible as well. A very fine shot anyway!
Best Regards
Angshu
