When I came upon this lovely scene in Walnut Creek, California it immediately struck me that the people living on the other side of this little side street wake up every morning and leave their homes looking at this incredible beauty! It's not a park or a private lawn, but just an example of the incredible vegetation and colour of California landscape. Hope you enjoy...

A post of yours is motif for celebration, as they are so rare. :-)
Those people are indeed very lucky to have such a view across the street. If those bushes are oleanders and they are like those we have here, they keep those colours for most of the year, so they are even more luckier.
Although there is some OE on the upper left, I find that you made a pretty good work controlling the difficult light situation that makes the flowers and the trees behind stand out wonderfully.

No extra place at city for gardening, this corner is attractive with different types and colourful plants, good lighting and exposure, simple scenery at sunny morning create feels of energy increase, thanks for sharing.
