Photographer’s Note
Running roughly parallel to the Killarney National Park's western border is the dramatic glacial breach known as the Gap of Dunloe.
The Gap of Dunloe (Irish: Bearna an Choimín) is a narrow pass between Macgillycuddy's Reeks and the Purple Mountains near Killarney, Ireland. It begins at Kate Kearney's Cottage and ends with a descent into The Black Valley, a distance of approximately 11 km (7 miles). As one travels through the Gap from Kate Kearney's, five small lakes are passed: Coosaun Lough, Black Lake, Cushnavally Lake, Auger Lake, and Black Lough in turn These lakes are connected by the River Loe from which the gap gets its name. Between the first two lakes is an old arch bridge called the 'Wishing Bridge' so named because it is said that wishes made while upon it are destined to come true.
The Gap has long been a popular tourist attraction. The road is narrow and difficult for motorised traffic, so the most popular form of transport for tourists is the horse-drawn jaunting car, which are rented from and driven by jarveys based in Killarney. Bikes can also be rented in the town of Kilarney and ridden through the gap.

Heja,
W sumie fajny widok, drzewo, góry i szosa. Lubię takie. Nie mogę jednak oprzeć się, że całość jest za ciemna. No i zbocze góry ma bardzo silny odcień magenty. Postanowiłem coś z tytm zrobić w workshopie. Mam nadzieję, że ci się spodoba.
Pozdro

Hi,
Very interesting landscape, I especially love the tree, looks fantastic, slightly overexposed sky and underexposed land, I believe ND grad filter would be helpful here, anyway very nice shot!
TFS & regards,
Tomasz

Hi Minoka,
You had not a great weather, but you did a nice shot anyway. The composition is very well done, with the tree in the center and the road on the right, showing us the way to the valley. The clouds on the mountains create a nice atmospere. It's a shame you had not sun, this is a wonderful place on sunny weather.
Regards,
Olivier
