Photographer’s Note

During my fairly recent visit to California, my cousin suggested we go for an evening drive just to look around her neighbourhood and area of Walnut Creek. At the last minute we decided to drive to the top of Mount Diablo, an amazing place of golden mountains and an incredible view. I am obviously very glad we stopped!

Hi Sarah,

California is so nice, I miss it! This place looks very similar to the place I stayed last year in my friend's house. I beleive its in the same region. The topography and vegetation are really nice there, the goldens mountains are impresive as you said.

A post from you is something that calls for celebration. It's indeed a beautiful view and I like how you used the round shapes of the hills and the green trees to make a very nice compo. Too bad for the light and haze on the BG and that white sky.

belle photo de cet endroit magnifique avec ces arbres bien vert sur le dessous,entourré par cette herbe lumineuse tut autour, puis vient ces colinnes qui lui donne une bonne profondeur de champs.

Love this shot. The composition and POV are superb. The DOF is excellent. very good details and wonderful soft colors. The sky is a bit on the over-exposure, but I still like this picture.
