Photographer's Note

Instead of posting a special composition to celebrate my 100th post, I decided to wait for the 111th.... and here it is !!!

I carefully selected a photo which I like a lot and - very proud of my work and my recent progress - showed it to my best friend, a few days ago.

Her reaction was immediate and so sincere "Marianne! this is simply rust and sh**!!!"

Well, despite the objectivity of her remark, I still like it and hope you will see something else ;-)

I want to thank you all for viewing my photos, for your comments and constructive critiques which helped me a lot.

Looking at your wonderful photos and trying to comment them is also very helpful and the glance I cast over the world changed during these last few months.

I am now able to go into ecstasies over a very simple view (even over an old rotten boat covered with excrements if the light is nice ;-)

I am more attentive and open-minded to people around me, no matter who they are or where they come from (speaking about rust, I had a very interesting conversation two weeks ago with a man in rags who wanted to know what I was shooting and when I told him, he answered that I had a problem... but because he had one too, it was okay for him ;-)

Yesterday "NO POINT DAY" reminded me that solidarity is not an empty word and I found it good to share this with all of you, even if it will not bring peace in our world by simply clicking the fingers.

See you soon for other photographical adventures and... Thanks for sharing !

Marianne

For those who will find this photo too dark, another view as a WS
