Photographer’s Note
In Sabah, there are two basic Christian weddings. While Roman Catholic wedding is not restricted except in the month of December and you as the photographer can't go beyond or behind the pastor, other faiths might not be so restrictive.
In the photo, it is an evangelist wedding ceremony of a faith or denomination called Evangelical Assembly of Borneo, in the agricultural district of Tenom, in the interior of Sabah.
In this wedding rite, the groom makes his wedding vow to his bride with the pastor facing them. In his hand, the pastor is holding his well used worn out color highlighted wedding manual.
