It is a nice picture of this old boat which certainly had better times in the past. The light is excellent and the sunset colours superb.

Hi Captain,
Ah the magical attraction of TE meetings strikes again, hope you had great fun over there, The soft light rendering on the rusted structures doubled by the reflection is very nice, I find the sky less attractive, pola wide angle effect too present and yes it's time for some sensor cleaning !
Have a nice sunday JY

Hi Tan,
Very photogenic ship, I remember Peter's version of this. Great light and optimal angle I think. I'd be tempted to zoom closer and sacrifice lower part of the reflection.

Hi Tan,
Long time no see.. ;o)
Looks like you're the first to post a picture from this meeting, and so far no one else seems to be following your tracks! Lovely POV and a beautiful light too.I like the way you've framed it with water both in front and behind.
Have a nice day.

The color of the rust from the ship and the play of light from the slightly rippled water to get a reflection catches my attention. your composition is great too. Superb shot.

Hi Tan,
I guess I won't be posting my version of Point Reyes wreck taken the following day when the tide was too low to give your great reflection. The off-center POV is very effective as well and I like the extra poloarization to the right.
Sorry I was late and missed meeting you; I was really looking forward to seeing you in action. Your results are so impressive I was hoping something would rub off on me. I love the WS you posted of Peter dancing on the truck as well.

Tan,
this is almost a classic for anyone that gets to Point Reyes/ Inverness with photographic aspirations. Your wide angle with the late sun providing the great reflections on the slight rippled water gives a nice image. Personally I would have preferred a little more light on the front of the boat to show the name of it 'Point Reyes' better.
The rest regarding the strong
uneaqual polarizing effect and the dust were already discussed and do not need to be pointed out again.
Meeting next year might be in Yoshua Tree or Anza Borrego N.P. This time somewhere during Spring. Would be nice to see you then again.
Peter

Hello Tan,
I like the image of the rusty scupper. The composition, light management and the resolution are all first rate. Initially, I thought the image might have been produced in Inverness, Scotland, rather than in California.
Warm regards,

Hello Tan,
Lovely reflection of the boat and nice POV.
Personnally, I would have left some extra space over the boat, but that a matter of personal taste.
Well done!

Hello Tan -
This is very nice with a great reflection. It is obvious you used a polarizer on this image as only the right third seems to be affected. I think it stands out a bit too much, but not enough to trash the image. If you crop this image to a square format the polarizer would not be so noticeable. Just my 2-cents.
Thank you for sharing. It was nice meeting you that afternoon.

A very interestin frame of the wreck in a strong point.
Very intersting also your low position who gives a nice depht by the foreground.
I appreciate also the lights quality.

I try to come here when I was last in San Francisco, didn't make it and ended up in Marine headland which turn out great as well. But I will surely come here next time I'm in the area. This is a great image, I love most everything about it, Really good composition. The only minor thing for me is that it was cropped just a little bit too tight up top, I know you also try to include the reflection which is important too for the composition. It' a tough call. Perhap zoom out or step back a couple of feet if possible. Anyway, I'm just being picky on you. Thanks Tan

Hi Tan,
I am back and glad to see your gallery again. This one stands out with the wreck very well placed in the frame, and that also was done during a TE meeting.
Good work
cheers
