Pas mal ce cours de géométrie par l'exemple!!
Ton traitement renforce l'impression d'ancien.
j'aime toujours autant ces citernes sur les toits, quel étonnant décalage avec cette ville pleine de lumières.... Il y a toujours des surprises dans les arrières-cours

beautiful ! Maybe I would have zooed in a bit on the upper left to avoid the street signs at the bottom.

Bonjour Stéphane,
bien captée l'âme de la vieille NY, avec cette prise dans laquelle l'ancien réservoir d'eau se détache sur l'architecture fantastique et les beaux escaliers en fer dans les façades.
Ces éléments sont icônes authentiques de la ville, et ta photo les a repris dans un cadrage excellent.
J'aime le coloris de tons très doux, qui donne aussi une apparence antique à la composition.
Une belle photo.

Hi Stephane... This is a view of NY a would like to get myself, because I´m going to stay there for 24 four hours next week. To short I know but at least something... Vertical composition that works very well with the same direction of the lights. The light is kind of brown, and this is something I like.

Ton traitement sepia fait beaucoup pour ce côté ancien, qui sied bien il est vrai aux réservoirs et aux brownstones.
J'aime bien le résultat, c'est le new york qui semnble toujours hésiter entre deux siècles, entre deux périodes de splendeur.

Oui Les immeubles des années 30 en avant-plan sont intéressants avec ce mystérieux château d'eau qui semble plus ancien; j'aurais donné ici une ambiance sépia.

Two points and a star for this excellent picture. The great contrast between the dark and light planes, the harmonic colour tones, almost as if it was a sepia picture, but one with very refined palette,and the great graphical impression of the composition are the elements that must be praised.

It is a pity excessive over-exposure, but I think we've given a good treatment to convert to sepia tones.

The cityscape is very appropriate within the frame in a vertical format, following the vertical geometric lines, with great ownership, which provides a good balance.

Excellent point of view and good contrast and sharpness in the foreground

C'est peut-être le réservoir d'eau pour arroser le jardin en terrasse que je vois à proximité !!! Encore une façon intéressante de nous dépeindre ces quartiers de NY. J'aime bien cet enchevêtrement métalique formé par ces escaliers si typiques qui casse un peu la verticalité de l'ensemble. Un bon coup d'oeil Stéphane.

Very NYC! With the white sky, the tones are excellent on the buildings, giving a feel of the early 50s, maybe even earlier...moreso with the classic poster on the wall. Interesting compo. in verticals!!

Stéphane, j'adore vraiment tes vues de New York, elles sont comme nulles autres, tu trouves toujours l'angle intéressant et une façon efficace de représenter ce que tu vois...
Le format vertical convient très bien ici et j'adore voir tous ces fers forgés, courbés ou bien hérissés ; on voit que tu as pris le temps d'observer cette ville de près !
