Photographer’s Note
The defining characteristic of Northern Ontario near the shores of Lake Huron is the abundance of those red granite outcrops. They gave inspiration to many artists and photographers alike.
You can't really see it in this photo, but the girl is actually sitting on the shore, looking towards the water.

Boris,
Interesting perspective - but you've given the game away in your note! Perhaps cropping a half centimetre off the left hand side - removing all traces of the lake - would have produced an even more surreal image!

This is my kind of photograph and my kind of rocks....nothing evokes the spirit of northern Ontario than does a scene like this.
