En ce dimanche matin, nombreux étaient les pêcheurs sur cet ancien puit minier qui, désormais, a une vocation bien différente.

This Sunday morning, the weather was perfect to go fishing. Those fishermen seems to enjoy it in this old mining pit used today as a fishing place.

This is gorgeous!! I like the trees in the fg, the colors, especially of the water, are really pretty! Makes me want to go fishing :) A very nice 'fishing hole' Have a great day!

nice interesting scenewith the boats in the middle of this exquisite lake. I like to see the green around and the clean blue sky. Fine job on the colors and exposure. Great job!

Belle prise de vue de ce lac formé sur un ancien puit minier, belle présentation et jolies couleurs naturelles, les pêcheurs sont presque à l'abri du vent sur ce lac, belle capture et détails..

I think you have shown us this place before and it's nice to see that it has been stocked with fish for the fishermen to enjoy and the photographers to photograph them. Nice rich colours in the new spring growth but it's too bad there wasn't a bit more detail in the pit walls.

Hi Denis,
Wonderful mid spring capture of this old mining quarry now filled with vivid blue water that contrast wonderfully with the lush green rim of vegetation circling the old quarry. The fishing boats lend nice scale and the clear blue sky the perfect backdrop for this beautiful landscape.

J'allais dire beau bassin d,eau dans une carrière avant de lire ta note mais ça reviens presque au même. Un bel endroit tranquille pour pêcher à l'abri du vent. Bonne composition et très jolies couleurs printanières.

Salut Denis,
It's good to know that the mining activity didn't ruin completely the landscape. I wouldn't be surprised that the lake was polluted, but I guess that it isn't, otherwise they wouldn't be fishing. It's a beautiful view, very nicely framed and featuring amazing clarity and colours.

Belle image de ce lac avec quelques couleurs excellentes où le vert et le bleu sont mêlés dans une harmonie parfaite. Une profondeur excellente et des détails. Un bien fait.

Un image vaut mille mots. Autant par la richesse du paysage et le fait que la pêche reste active. J`imagine la profondeur du puit.

Bonsoir Denis,

La prise de vue permet de voir le lac en entier. La présence des pêcheurs a un effet d'échelle de grandeur. Les lac est bien cadré par les parois rocheuses. La lumière est une des pièces maitresse de la composition. Bonne soirée.
