Photographers Note
Witch-Wife
She is neither pink nor pale,
And she never will be all mine;
She learned her hands in a fairy-tale,
And her mouth on a valentine.
She has more hair than she needs;
In the sun tis a woe to me!
And her voice is a string of coloured beads,
Or steps leading into the sea.
She loves me all that she can,
And her ways to my ways resign;
But she was not made for any man,
And she never will be all mine.
Edna St. Vincent Millay (1892-1950) was an American lyrical poet and playwright and the first woman to receive the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry. She was also known for her unconventional, bohemian lifestyle and her many love affairs. She used the pseudonym Nancy Boyd for her prose work.

Hey,
I love the atmosphere of this shot ... there's something about it that's quite captivating. A very nice composition with the bright sky and the dark silhouette of the woman. Congratulations!!!

Merhaba Ayşegül,
The minimalist compo, the ethereal light, the great amount of space surrounding the lonely human figure that looks very absorbed in her thoughts while looking at the sea, all compose an image that it is very appropriate to accompany a poem. Beautiful and very inspiring!
Selamlar, José.

Nice picture, Aysegul!
It proves that the 1/3 rule isn't always a condition for quality!

Hello Aysegul!
This is a great photo, with beautiful shine due to the nice management of lights and contrasts. The centered girl is a clever idea, making the nature even bigger and the lonelyness sensation blows of the picture!

Zeca

Hello Aysegul,
All rules are made to be broken, and your image is a nice demonstration of it.
Everything is centered, the horizon and the woman, but it is working perfectly.
And the association of the image and the text is great.
Have a nice day.
Best regards, Christian

aslında model çok ortada ama bu kompozisyonda hiç de rahatsız edici değil, cuk oturmuş hatta... belki kumdan biraz kesilebilirdi ama... elinize sağlık ayşegül...

Perfect framing. A nice "album cover" style scene here with a melancholy mood. Well done, this is really nice to look at and the note is well matched as well. Regards, TW
