Photographer’s Note

The sun is paying a welcome visit to the U.K, so it was straight home from work-throw the dog & the camera in the car then off to the north west coast.
I spotted these two young girls walking down to the sea with their sandles in hand & though i was shooting towards the sun i thought it may give an interesting effect.

Hi David, this is a pleasing beach silhouette shot. (I can never get enough of beach shots :) ) Yes the sun is finally paying us a visit! Hopefully it will stay awhile! Rgds, Leilani

Hi David, I'd not seen this shot before now, and it's a real cracker! The sun reflecting off the sand is just on the edge of being burnt out, but it really makes the scene sparkle. Lovely dark silhouettes and the banding created by the shoreline and horizon also add to the overall effect.

Great work of reverse light.
You have well captured the sunlight reflected on the waves like a pile of diamonds shining attractively.
