Friday in Vienna Photo

Photographer’s Note

Smile it's Friday :)
I took this picture few weeks ago, it was Friday and i think that half of Vienna was sitting in this restaurant, i dont know name of it, i don't know exactly the place or street, what i know that there are loooot of places where to chill out in Vienna and looot of them were empty.
I was wondering WHERE are all Viennese and then i found out where - in this restaurant without natty table-clothes but with smiling people and broken sun-umbrellas :))
Interesting place, right in the front was huge park with plenty of relaxing people.
If anybody of you knows this place, or knows why it is so favourite, feel free to tell me :)

Hello Veronika! This is a famous corner of Vienna and I had my coffee pause here too. It is nice so why not being famous, or maybe it is in all the travel guides :) Sometimes I have the impression that everybody goes to the same places, and maybe it is better that way so there is more room for those who choose the side roads. Another aspect that works for me very well ... Anyway, this is a nice way to welcome the weekend ... also to you, enjoy some sunshine! Barbara.

Hi Veronika,
this is the Burggarten in Vienna, right below the Albertina. Why is everybody there? Because it´s beautiful! The park (one of the nicest of Vienna),and the coffehouse in the former glasshouse (part of it is still being used to store small palm trees and other plants,that decorate the city, during winter time) are simply very stylish, very fin de siecle. Some ten years ago they transformed the glasshouse into a cafe, and it became an oasis of quiet and nature in the center of the city!

belle photo de ces batiments avec cette grande verrière, beaux mélanges de ces couleurs vertes et blanches, et bien sur belle vue de ces gens qui font ce que nous aimons faire dans tous les pays du monde, boire un bon verre a une trerrasse ensoleillée.
Belle prise qui remonte le moral.
