Photographer’s Note

The whole landscape id part og Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park.
Situated at about 2.500 metres asl, this NP is most popular as mountain attraction in Indonesia.
The background with its smoke is Mt. Semeru, the highest peak on Java, 3.767 m asl, and the cosmic mountain for Javanese culture.
The intentionally name of "Semeru" refers to "Meru" in India as laso the holy mountain.

beautiful composition. i like your creative angle of taking the close up of the tree and protraying the distant mountain. what is that ice-cream like mist out there on top of the mountain? the layer of cloud covering the middle line of the mountain is fascinating.
