Photographer’s Note

The Seine river in Paris is probably a waterway much more patrolled by tourist loaded Bateaux-Mouches than freighters, but in these ecological well thinking so called Grenelle times it would probably make a lot of sense to have many more freighters like this one to transport goods instead of deploying an alibi Velib infrastructure the maintenance of which creates more pollution than benefit...

Oh, and this nice freighter happens to pass by the most famous french papagolfade, Notre Dame de Paris which I assume does not need detailed wikipedia info dump to overload this note. This photo was taken cruisin' the capital with Frangine & Cousin and vintaged to get something out of this ever attractive parisian sky...
