Photographer’s Note
Mount Kinabalu slowly being engulfed with the morning clouds as seen from the tallest pine forested hill in Kundasang.
Kundasang is the market garden of Sabah with just about all the vegetables coming to market comes from the patchworks of vegetables gardens on the slopes of the Mesilau hill ranges.
Mount Kinabalu has two plateaus with the Eastern Plateau on the right and hardly for tourists. Low's Peak is on the Western Plateau and very accessible to just about everyone.
There are two tourist trails to Laban Rata, the base camp. Summit Trail is about 6km and more popular than the 8km Mesilau Trail, which is about 8km but more scenics.

Hey Bani,
This is a great view of Mt Kinabalu from Perkasa Hotel, framed by the pine trees. On our way back, we stayed for a night a Fairy Garden. I was planning to go up to this spot, but Bill and Jong were no where to be found when I got up...they were already shooting somewhere else.
