Photographer’s Note

We arrived in Bagan, the previous evening completely exhausted by the ten hours driving trip, through desertic central Myanmar.
Next morning, we woke up early to enjoy the sunrise at the ancient city. From atop of a pagoda, I saw this mother carrying one of her child in a basket while the other one, was following her.

The curving dirt road is a fine element, nicely balanced by the tree and the backlight gives a fine effect in enhancing the persons...

J'adore celle ci, on dirait une image d'un autre temps, d'un autre monde... Le chemin trace un belle courbe, les sillons sur la terre sèche ajoutent une touche de graphisme. Les couleurs sont bien douces. Bien ton objectif, car je peux témoigner qu'ils étaient vraiment loin depuis le haut de cette pagode...

Bonsoir Marilyn,

On a l'impression, avec l'effet d'optique que le gamin à l'arrière est aussi dans le panier, mais je crois, vu sa taille et son poid, que les lois de l'équilibre n'aurait pas été respectées !!! Belle équilibre de l'image, j'aime beaucoup l'environnement qui entoure la scène. Les couleurs et la lumière sont douces et agréables. Fonctionne bien ton nouvel appareil, bravo Marilyn.

la lumière matinale de cette photo est merveilleuse!Elle donne une très belle couleur dorée à la terre et le vert tendre des feuilles que tu as inclues dans ton cadrage fait un contraste magnifique!J'aime ton POV légèrement en hauteur qui fait qu'on voit bien le chemin qui serpente dans le paysage!Et puis,c'est tout simplement une très jolie scène!Je me demande bien comment tient le petit garçon dans le petit panier,et comment ça ne déséquilibre pas la maman!

A very fine picture. Like the zoomed view of nthe mother carrying the two children in her basket with the curved road also adding to the beauty. Nothing exotic, but I like the way you've depicted daily life here...excellent!

Un moment, j'ai cru que l'enfant à droite se trouvait debout dans le panier, tu nous donnes une petite illusion d'optique ! Très mignon comme scène de "daily life", j'en ai une de l'Inde qui pourrait faire le pendant, un peu différente pourtant - La courbe du sentier ajoute à la douceur de l'ensemble, quelles belles couleurs !

a very tranquil moment embeded in a wonderful composition with the mother with her two boys walking along the "S" shaped trail. An image that certainly has nothing to do with what is going on right now in that country.
