Photographer’s Note

I've always loved the shapes of the clouds, and the colors that they have through the different hors of the day. Today, while I was walking through the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, my city, I noticed the contrast that you can see in the image, between the blue sky, the clouds and the street lights. I hope you like it!

Hola Felip... Aunque en mi opinión igual has dado demasiada presencia a las nubes, la composición y los colores me parecen muy interesantes, las formas de las farolas recortándose sobre el cielo me parece muy gráfico y elegante. Enhorabuena.

Hay algo de la foto que no me acaba de convencer... pero no sé bien bien qué es.
En todo caso me gusta el detalle de las farolas y el color intenso de ese cielo nublado.

Ahora estoy convencido, tienes el "ojo especial" para fotos de arquitectura, diferentes, muy originales y muy impresionantes, enfocadas a detalles preciosos! Hola Felip,
ben vist aquest enquadrament vertical aprofitant l'estretor del carrer (Ferran?) i el fort grafisme dels esplèndids fanals adossats a les façanes. Unes façanes clares ben il.luminades pel sol i amb un bon contrast amb el cel i els núvols, com bé dius a la nota.
M'agrada, és una bona foto i té molta força.

El ojo del fotografo ! Realmente muy ben vista.
Esta composiçion con las linternas a antes mi pliat mucho. Perfecto para la técnica también.

hmm, the placement of the lamps is good, but the view is a little narrow and airless at the bottom. I suppose you couldn't do much here from the angle you chose.

My only suggestion would be to go a couple of steps behind and recapture it, making your POV wider at the bottom, and everything smaller, unless you wanted to remove something annoying below.

I nearly miss this great shot of yours, just brilliant of a good architecture photo well captured and composed!
you got the best pov to place the street lamps against the beautiful sky, makes them so impressive and good looking!
the exposure and focus on the structure is in first class with perfect details to view and enjoy

Bonjour Felip,
j'apprécie beaucoup la recherche dans le cadrage, cela semble rendre la rue étroite et donner de l'importance à ces magnifiques lampes.
Un post-processing sans doute pour les lumières qui s'en trouvent rehaussées.

Cette photo met en valeur la beauté de ces lampadaires en fond de ciel. Barcelone est une ville qui recèle tellement de bonnes surprises.

Aquì, el punto de vista y la profundidad de campo son maravillosos! El encadenamiento de las terrazas, los dos duomos en el fondo y la textura nublada del cielo, dan un efecto optimo!
