Photographer’s Note
This was somewhere in the Appalchian Mountains where I went to see the autumn leaf colour. Unfortunately an early cold spell triggered the leaf change early so it was past its best when I was there, but this picture does not depend too much on the tree colour as the pumpkin and flowers compensate. I like the feeling of decay in this picture.

Hello Alan,
you are right that the tree colour is not that important because of the strong colours in the foreground.
There are so many details, I love it!
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Alan! You managed to get a painitng like image of Autumn. It could be the illustration of a fairytale! The composition is good with the fence as a guideline and well balanced with the orange-red colors in the foreground matching with the red roof of the little house in the background. Charming light also.
I like it!

Hi Alan, the rickety old fence and shed give character and the colours are great!A really nice composition which is sharp and detailed. The sky is a bit washed out, overexposed though, but skies can prove to be difficult!Regards, Jean
