Photographer’s Note
Another shot from this tiger at taipei zoo, but I changed my POV this time, going behind the glass, the dirt made me lose detail but the feeling of this tiger looking right at me with just a piece of glass between us is something I won't forget.
And the midday light usually terrible for photography created this shadow under his eye that I really appreciate.
If I particularly like this photo it's because af all the shots I took of him this one actually shows some life in his eye compared to the boredom I usually caught. For a moment he was once again king of the jungle.
