This shots framing and color reminds me of photographs of inside abandoned buildings. It has that same kind of feeling of emptiness, but you can tell that the place itself remembers when it is filled with people.

Hi David! excellent ideal picture! The almost monochrome in the tunnel and the steps with the background litted up soft blue, give a atmosphere of mystery of night. Exceptional idea and implementation!

Hi David,

Clever idea photographing a busy place while its still quiet. I like arch tunnel with telephones in line and also great different light conditions between under tunnel and next typical Italian alley a lot. You captured a different scene. Congratulations.

Something misterieus about this shot. I think it is bacause of the colors and the strange shape of the phones. I like the result of the exposure.
