On September 1st, 2007 a terrible sexual assault occurred on the campus of Carleton University. The one responsible for this despicable act has yet to be caught.

This is a photo of the after affects of life on campus. Posters and descriptions. It breaks my heart to see this. To know that a young woman has had her life turn upside down by the selfish, hateful person who doesn't realize the harm he's inflicted. It breaks my heart because I've seen first hand what sexual assault can do to a young woman. I've seen someone beautiful nearly die because of the long lasting hurt. My thoughts and prayers go to everyone, everywhere effected by sexual assault.

I wish there was more I could do. I wish I could prevent it from happening. I wish I could provide comfort to those already broken.

The really sad part, this wasn't the latest sexual assault on campus.

This photo, has a sadness to it. The phone remains empty. It seems to asking for someone to come forward and bring justice to this wrong. I hope someone makes the call.
