Suburbia
Over the past few years, the state of Connecticut has managed to grab the title as the richest state in the nation. Many of its towns are the pearls of the New York - Boston metropolitan area suburbia. Perhaps, nowhere in the United States, the contrast between inner-city life and suburbs is more striking than in Connecticut. Unfortunately, I heard anecdotal reports that its capital, Hartford, may be the poorest capital in the nation.
What I'm showing here is a snapshot of the so-to-speak happy side of this story. Tonight I present to you a cityscape captured in a quiet moment, when the evening traffic flow of the mases retreating to their homes had a brief gap. I had already tried to take a shot over the car roofs, but this time I was able take a lower angle and here it is.
Enjoy!
