Photographer’s Note

Hello,

That night I was looking giant waves striking that cliff, for a while I was wondering how to shoot one of them in action. I was trying to create an image like that while my girlfriend was shouting at me because a giant slash was going towards me. Next wave almost took me with it :) Hope you like it.. :)

Looks dangerously close :-O I hope you and your camera escaped well.
Love the image, it feels very unreal with great frozen splash, the person in panic and the peaceful blue sky above. Wow!

Hello Wojciech,

Effectivement, il s'agit bien d'un moment décisif ! La vague semble stoppée nette pour l'éternité ! La personne sur la falaise donne une bonne idée de la taille de la vague et de sa force !
