Photographer’s Note
We walked from Sants Estacio station in Barcelona down to the Palau Nacional where the famous musical light, fountain & musical displays take place on certain evenings, around dusk.
As we arrived we found that a festival was taking place-a classic motor festival-with Ferraris, Alpha Romeos & Jaguars all on display, dating from the 50's onwards.
Yet all of the locals turned up on the scooters you can see parked in the square-i guess we can all dream!

Hi David,
an interesting photo - as I don´t know Barcelona so well (I only "know" Camp Nou and the Sagrada Familia) The scooters make it a "special" shot. What kind of a tower is that? Reminds me a bit of the Campanile in Venice! The evening atmosphere is fine, perhaps the foreground is a bit too dark.
