Pagoda's Sky Photo

Photographer’s Note

A pagoda in the budist site of Anuradhapura.
The site is quiet beauty, with a lot of big trees, and the temples and pagodas spotting the area, as this one.

I like this picture for the sky colours and lights, that are the sames of the pagoda.
The composition is very basic. With the main subject in the middle, but I have thought that it was the better composition to show this sames lights and colours. The tree lines gives the colour contrast and goes straight to the pagoda, focusing the attention on it.

But tell me what you think about it, thanks. Your critics and commentaries are importants.

cette coupole blanchâtre qui se perd dans le ciel, est bien plus élégante que beaucoup des coupoles dorées.

You have captured the pagoda very well and the light is very complimentry to it. Nothing wrong with placing the pagoda in the centre as it works really well here. The rule of thirds needs to be broken some time.

fantàstica Xavi!
m'agrada i molt, la senzillesa i els colors naturals estan perfectes per aconseguir situar-te al lloc (no faré pas WS ;P no no ) i el joc de fer servir les siluetes dels arbres per guiar la mirada ... collonuts.

HOla Javier,
J'aime beaucoup ce ciel chargé et la lumière du soleil qui arrive par le haut.
Quant à la coupole, son style gracieux et sa blancheur lui confèrent beaucoup d'aura.
Grâce à la disposition des arbres, on dirait presque qu'elle monte vers le ciel..

You have so many great works. I like this one for the simple reason that it has the feel that it could be of a subject built a thousand years ago or a thousand years in the future . . . timeless.
