Photographer’s Note

The Canyon of the Virgin River can be a very dengerous place during the rain. The rain may accur in some distance area. In a short period of time the level of water raises dramatically and the speed of it is increadible. This year we had to wait several days until the level of the water decreased and became clear. It was a flowing mud; first of almost black color and then completely orange. I have seen huge trees carried by the river like they were small matches.

A great POV and a refreshing composition/theme..a great blend of metamorphous huge rocks and the thinning river. The acoustics might have been amazing in and around between the base of the cliffs.

An intersting one but a little burnout on the stones in front ?..dont you think ?

Good shot of this beautiful place. I've been to Zion but I never hiked the narrows, and when I see shots like this I really regret that. I like the inclusion of the person, because it gives a sense of the scale of this place. Well done!
