Justine is 11 year old. Some might remember her for a previous post

We met her with a whole bunch of kids while visiting the tiebele dam. Caught under a heavy tropical storm, we waited about an hour under the school's hallway that had a roof. I took advantage of this obligatory stop to shoot portraits of every single kid of the group.

well, this photo is a very good example of why some rules are meant to be broken, in this case - the rule about shooting at the eye level. I find that as it is, this shot has so many layers of meanings - the obvious difference between adults and children and that we tend to regard them "from above"; her look that says she's wise beyond her years and patronising makes her laught... perfect colours and detail too. overall - simple, but very effective portrait. great shot.

Belle photo de cet enfant et de son sourrire, belles couleurs et beau flou arrière ce qui augmente la netteté de la fillette.L' autre pose est jolie aussi.

I congratuleat for your 1000 pictures on your number 999, which is a very nice and sweet portrait. The girl's eyes are two light spots.

J'ai déjà vu ce portrait mais je n'ai pas pris le temps de commenter...
J'aime beaucoup son regard et son sourire très discret.
Un peu coquine, certainement, la fille !!!
