Photographer’s Note

I was at Lake Ohau last weekend. When I woke up around 6am last Saturday, it was just wild weather. The wind was blowing at 100Kph and the rain was pouring ... actually it felt like hail. But I've never had the chance of exploring the photographic potential of the lake on a really bad weather condition. So, I grab my rain coat and camera, and went down to the lake shore with my dog. For those pet lovers, don't be concern with my dog ... he is a springer spaniel and he just loves the water irrespective of the conditions. It was tough going because the rain was getting to my lens (I forgot to bring my lens hood) and I was not able to use a tripod because the wind just blows it away. It took me more than 20 shots before coming up with this one that I feel postable here in TE. It was a really mad experience trying to brave the wild elements but at least I know next time what to expect and be more prepared. As the famous cliche goes, "Nothing ventured nothing gained". Hope you like the photo.
