Children show off the rewards of an apple-picking mission near a part of town now off-limits because landmines are believed to be still buried in the ground.
These children were enjoying the afternoon picking apples. I crossed paths with them on a walking path up on the hillside above the town center. They offered me an apple. It was small and sweet.
