Sagrada Familia-A work in progress Photo

Photographer’s Note

Last weekend i was in Barcelona with my parents, & we decided the best way for them to take in the city without walking 100's of miles or working out Barcas Metro system was to take an open topped 'Bus turistic'.
The bus turistic runs on three different coloured routes around the city, passing by all major points of interest & can be used all day for around 19euros.
As we passed the towering Sagrada familia my mum was shocked to see the scaffolding & cranes, not realising it was still 'a work in progress'.
It is estimated to be complete in around 20 years.

Hi David, great photo. nice building to take pictures. Great POV and composition. I think the photo has a little bit of a color cast so I posted a Workshop, please let me know what you think.

This is not the easiest building to capture. You managed it well.

wonderful shot of that amazing building, good pov and composition. i know, it is hard to find the right spot there, i
took at least 150 pics on my way around the sagrada familia last year, but you did very well.
the details are terrific and the colors very nice - the WS is an improvement too.

Hi David
Others might try to erase the crane and scaffolding but here you've managed to make it look good thanks to your pov. They actually give a great contrast to the unusual archtecture of the Sagrada Familia and the sharpness and saturation are excellent. The blue sky and pretty light help too.
