Nothing much has been changed in 7 year.
I have been sevaral times in Crete. Every time I went to the old monatery of Previli. Till June of this year 2007 there was alway's a possibility to get in. Since August, I was there twice this year, there is an iron barrier at al sides. In the area you can still feel the peace of the small chapel. At the left side of the chapel you see an orange tree. There is also a bush with bunches of grapes.

Hello Marc
This looks to be a wonderful place to explore - it is unusual, and a pity, for such places to be fenced off but perhaps it may prevent further damage to the stonework.
I like the direction of the light in this shot and you have shown enough of the surrounding landscape to give a good feeling of the place.
