Photographer’s Note

Balinese Temples are quite all open air. This one is infront of the market place in Ubud. People come here every day bringing the typical offerings and for praying. Specially in the early morning many people come to this place.

Hello Nino,

Very well composition with the lady to the right and the market products to the left.
I like the blur background as very well contrast.
Nino you work also with a 5D, my question: change you very regular of lenses, I've a lot difficulties and problems with dust.

You have captured this ritual perfectly, in very fine light. The offerings on the left perfectly balance the woman, who seems oblivious to the camera. The background works very well. You are masterly at capturing these important daily life scenes. Cheers.

Yes in Bali, people do offering everyday to bring luck for the day, and cast away all bad luck

Hi Nino,

Such a typical view you have captured here. You have captured both the offerings and the woman so well. I think that the offerings often looks like a mess (hope nobody will get angry) and that is so obvious in your image.

Hallo Nino. Eine vertraute Szene in Bali. Die Zermonie wiederholt sich ja mehrmals am Tag. Beeindruckend finde ich auch immer wieder die Ernsthaftigkeit dieser Prozedur. In Deinem Photo kommt dies sehr gut zum Ausdruck. Viele Grüße, Wolfgang.
